Established since 1979, The Lotus Cortina Register is a club for owners and enthusiasts of Mark I, Mark II, and Crayford Lotus Cortinas’. The LCR now has a global membership, with members in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Africa, and throughout Europe.

The aims of The Lotus Cortina Register are to provide help and assistance to owners, and most importantly to provide the motivation and means through which people can fully appreciate these classic cars.

Founded in 1979, The Lotus Cortina Register was formed into a company limited by guarantee by Phil Baskerville, and operated initially within Club Lotus. In 1980 The LCR established itself as an independent club, and in 1987 the Lotus Cortina Register formed into a Company Limited by Guarantee. The LCR now has records gathered over 40+ years, detailing more than 1,100 Mark Ⅰ’s and 765 Mark Ⅱ’s, and holds copies of the original Lotus factory records for over 1,684 Mark Ⅰ’s.

David Missions

Chairman & Treasurer

Chairman & Treasurer. Founding member of the Lotus Cortina Register and a stalwart fan of Lotus Cortinas for nearly 60 years, ever since first seeing Jim Clark racing one at Brands Hatch back in 1965. David also raced his own 1964 Lotus Cortina in UK club and international historic races, with others, from 1987-96.

Andy Morrell

General Secretary

General Secretary and first point of contact for all things club and vehicle related. Andy has been a Lotus Cortina fan and enthusiast since the 60’s when he was in short trousers; very conversant and sympathetic in all things regarding these wonderful cars. Andy joined the LCR in 1983 and has been an active committee member in various guises from 1989 and along with his colleague Rikki, has club authority to authenticate any car. Whether you're already a member or just looking to become an owner we will inspect the vehicle for you and give a full written report along with a current valuation if you so wish. If you’re only looking, contact us in the first instance as our database is widely accepted by Ford Motor Company and Lotus Cars to be the most comprehensive. Andy is recognised by the DVLA as the clubs representative and can assist with any registering issues or difficulties you may have.

Rikki Nock

Membership Secretary and Registrar

Rick is the Registrar and Membership Secretary of the LCR. Rick has over 30 years experience of compiling the register and helping the membership with advice and inspections of Lotus Cortinas, not only in the UK but throughout Europe. The register holds a unique unrivalled record of worldwide Lotus Cortinas.
