The summer of 2026 is shaping up to be a busy one for the Lotus Cortina Register, with two major events offering members and enthusiasts the perfect opportunity to get together, display their cars and celebrate the enduring appeal of these iconic classics.
From the spectacular Bromley Pageant of Motoring in July to National Day Weekend at Stratford-upon-Avon in August, there is plenty for Lotus Cortina owners to look forward to.
Bromley Pageant of Motoring
The Lotus Cortina Register is delighted to be attending the Bromley Pageant of Motoring on Sunday 19th July 2026.
Held at the South of England Showground in Ardingly, West Sussex, the Bromley Pageant is one of the UK’s largest and most popular classic motoring events. With thousands of classic, vintage and specialist vehicles expected, it promises a fantastic day for enthusiasts, owners and families alike.
For Lotus Cortina fans, the Register stand provides an opportunity to see a selection of these distinctive cars together, while also meeting fellow owners and members of the wider classic-car community.
Visitors to the event can expect a huge variety of attractions, including classic car club displays, trade stands and autojumble, live entertainment and arena attractions, food and refreshments, and family-friendly activities throughout the day.
Display Your Lotus Cortina
Members wishing to display their Lotus Cortina on the Register’s club stand are encouraged to get in touch with the club to obtain the exclusive booking link and club access code.
The club stand is a great way to showcase your car while spending the day with fellow Lotus Cortina enthusiasts.

From Bromley to Stratford-upon-Avon
With the Bromley Pageant providing a major highlight in July, the summer continues just a couple of weeks later with one of the Register’s key events of the year: National Day Weekend.
Taking place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd August 2026, National Day Weekend will be held at Stratford Racecourse, Stratford-upon-Avon.
Unlike a traditional one-day show, National Day Weekend gives members the chance to make a proper weekend of it. Whether arriving with a Lotus Cortina for the display, visiting for the day or staying for the whole weekend, everyone can enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere that makes Register events special.
National Day Weekend – Stratford-upon-Avon
National Day Weekend is all about bringing the Lotus Cortina community together.
Visitors can expect a fantastic display of Lotus Cortinas and other classic vehicles, along with plenty of opportunities to catch up with friends, meet new people and share a passion for historic motoring.
For many members, the social side is every bit as important as the cars themselves. It’s a chance to swap stories, compare restoration projects, exchange technical knowledge and enjoy the company of people who understand why these cars continue to inspire such enthusiasm decades after they first appeared on the road.

Camping is available on-site, allowing visitors to enjoy the full National Day experience rather than simply attending for a few hours.
With social activities taking place throughout the weekend, there is plenty of time to relax, enjoy the cars and make the most of the event atmosphere.

Looking Ahead
The summer events are just part of a busy year for classic motoring. Later in 2026, the Register will also be looking ahead to The Classic Motor Show at the NEC Birmingham, from 13th–15th November.
With thousands of classic vehicles, hundreds of specialist traders and one of the largest gatherings of classic vehicle clubs in the country, it promises another major date for the classic-car calendar.
For now, though, the focus is on enjoying the summer and getting the Lotus Cortinas out on the road.
